A simple funeral costs from CHF 960. This is based on an hourly rate of CHF 120 and includes the meeting with the bereaved family to discuss the funeral, up to four hours for organising, designing and writing a standard funeral and eulogy, and conducting the ceremony. Local travel costs are also covered. Any costs for materials are charged separately.

Any additional time needed to prepare the funeral is charged at an additional CHF 120 an hour. The same hourly rate applies for other services.
